These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the website at bsft.qa (the “Website”), operated by Basmat Sama Food Trading (“BSFT”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in the State of Qatar.
By accessing, browsing or using the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Website.
2. Who we are
BSFT is a 100% Qatari-owned company engaged in the procurement and distribution of premium food products across Qatar’s HORECA, food service, catering, airline, retail and government sectors. Our contact details appear at the end of these Terms.
3. The Website is a catalogue, not an online shop
The Website presents our product range for information purposes. Product listings on the Website are not an offer to sell and do not constitute a binding quotation.
Any prices shown are indicative only, are exclusive of taxes, delivery and other charges unless stated otherwise, and may change without notice. No sale is concluded through the Website. All supply is subject to a separate written quotation, purchase order or supply agreement between BSFT and the customer, and to stock availability at the time of confirmation.
4. Product information
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, pack sizes, specifications and images on the Website are accurate at the time of publication. However:
- Images are illustrative. Packaging, labelling and presentation may differ from what is shown.
- Pack sizes, formats and specifications may be changed by manufacturers without notice.
- Availability varies by season and supply conditions, and is not guaranteed.
Allergens and product safety information: the Website is not a substitute for the product label. Always check the actual product packaging and accompanying documentation for ingredients, allergens, nutritional information, storage instructions and expiry dates before use, resale or service to consumers. Where you require specific documentation — such as halal certification, country of origin, or food safety and traceability records — please request it from us in writing before placing an order.

Enquiries submitted through the Website, by email or by telephone are treated as requests for information or for a quotation. A contract for supply arises only when BSFT issues a written confirmation or accepts a purchase order.
Where a quotation is issued, it is valid for the period stated in it, or for thirty (30) days where no period is stated, and remains subject to stock availability. Delivery timescales given are estimates made in good faith and are not guaranteed.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide to us — including delivery addresses, contact details, quantities and product specifications — is accurate and complete.
7. Accounts
Some Website features, such as saved wishlists or product comparison, may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity carried out under your account. Please notify us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your authorisation. We may suspend or close an account where these Terms have been breached.
8. Intellectual property
All content on the Website — including text, graphics, photographs, logos, layout, and the selection and arrangement of that content — is owned by BSFT or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own internal business reference. Any other use requires our prior written consent.
Third-party brand names, trademarks and product images shown on the Website remain the property of their respective owners and appear solely to identify products we supply or distribute. Nothing on the Website grants you any right to use those marks.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BSFT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill or anticipated savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Website or your reliance on its content.
Liability arising from the actual supply of goods is governed by the separate supply agreement, quotation or purchase order applicable to that supply, and not by these Terms.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold BSFT harmless against any claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Website.
14. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
15. Force majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural events, fire, flood, epidemic, war, civil unrest, industrial action, failure of utilities or telecommunications, government action, import or export restrictions, or disruption to shipping and supply chains.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the current one, and the “last updated” date shows when it was last changed. Your continued use of the Website after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or your use of the Website, are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. The courts of the State of Qatar shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
18. General
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written supply agreement between us, constitute the entire agreement relating to your use of the Website.
